Rob Garrido is a contemporary Christian artist and worship leader originally from Miami, FL. After studying at the University of Miami’s Studio Music and Jazz Voice program, Rob went on to serve as a worship leader for various churches in Miami and Nashville, TN, where he has lived for the past 4 years. His sound has been influenced by the popular Christian artists of his youth as well as Delirious?, Hillsong, U2, and others.

His unique style as a worship leader blends the new and the classics. Audiences have come to expect a worship experience that mirrors the cycles of our own lives in response to God, from intense, driving yet subtly layered guitars and synths, to intimate new twists on songs you may have sung countless times that honors their simplicity and beauty. For Rob, “worship is more than just standing on stage or sitting in the pews with arms raised. It’s more than just lights and singing along with a great band. Worship is about responding to God’s goodness and mercy in every aspect of our lives. It is how we translate that response to the Father in our every interaction. It is a lifestyle. 1Peter 2:9 tells us that we ‘are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that [we] may declare the praises of him who called [us] out of darkness into his wonderful light.’ My hope is that the listener and concert audience will be engaged in extravagant, unhindered worship, inspired to respond to God’s calling for us to live our lives as an act of worship.”
